Here it is! We are now in the third trimester at almost 29 weeks! (Just ignore the weird smile haha) She loves to stay up all night and is a very good kicker while she is awake! Daddy and I are very very excited for her to come soon! June could definitely not come sooner!

Me at 21 Weeks

Pregnancy Update!!!
       Well since I havn't officially announced it over the blog here we go... WE ARE PREGNANT!!! Okay now that it's out in the open haha...we found out on January 11th that we are having a healthy baby girl. Our first little princess!!! Before we found out what we were having, I decided to prepare Matt that we might be having a girl (because he was 99% sure we were having a boy). So, I decided to just pretend it was a girl and say it was a girl all the time haha. Funny thing is, I think it still shocked him when the nurse said that the baby is definatley a girl. Although it took him a little bit to get used to the idea of having a little girl, he is definatly really excited about our little princess!
       The first trimester wasn't all that bad. I started taking prenatal vitamins but soon figured out that it wasn't the little gummy bear in my belly that was making me nauseous...it was the vitamins! So once I stopped taking those I only felt sick every once in awhile. It took a while to really feel like I was pregnant. The one thing that gave it away was when I started to get tired all the time.
        At 16 weeks I felt the little one move, I was so excited and wanted Matt to feel her but of course he couldn't just yet. Finally at 17 weeks and 6 days Matt got to feel her. He has felt her a lot now and I love having him feel her kick and punch. I am just amazed at how strong she is already and I love him feeling it too!
        By 16 weeks I could no longer fit in normal jeans (which meant...it's time to bring out the stretchy-band jeans and flowy shirts!). Well I am now 21 weeks and 5 days along and I am getting larger everyday. The last few weeks I have had very itchy skin which I am not a fan of at all. I have been losing my breath really easily (kind of embarrassing) and sometimes I feel like I waddle.
        Just a few things I love right now are: having Matt touch my belly just to touch it, having Matt feel her kick, having a little belly that my husband loves, feeling her move and kick around, and I absolutely love how much we love and are attached to our little princess already and we haven't even met her yet. We love being pregnant and we are very excited that our family will be welcoming a new addition in June!!!

Thanksgiving Vacation!

We headed back to Cali for Thanksgiving! It was a much needed break from school and the cold weather. We got there very early Saturday morning because it took us 3 and a half hours to get over Donner Pass going 30 MPH with chains on. We got to my parents house went straight to bed only to be awakened by my family a few hours later while my dad was making apple pancakes which were delicious! Up until Thanksgiving day we really didn't do much but relax which was perfect for us. Thanksgiving day was so much fun and me and Matt were both very excited about the Thanksgiving food (we have been craving for a few weeks by this point) haha. Here are some pictures of some if the events!

Here is one of the activities of the week. In my parents back yard a huge tree fell down so the job was to cut it apart and drag everything to the firepit. This picture is of Brian handling the chain saw.

Here is Matt getting to use the second biggest chain saw in the world. He was so proud of himself getting to cut the big trunk of the tree!

Thanksgiving morning of course we went to a football game. Matt, Brian and my little brother Robert played and when Brian got a chance to be on the sideline Carter was always right there to hang out with his daddy. Carter was also afraid of stepping in the mud until daddy showed him how to do it......

Funny story... while my mom and me were the only ones in the kitchen cooking my mom was at the stove cooking the green beans while I was peeling eggs behind her. All of the sudden i here her scream and she yells don't look as i turn around of to look I see her shove a bottle of seasoning back into the cubboard. My mom just starts laughing and so I walk over to the green beans to see the green beans still in the pan but accompanying the green beans was alot of rainbow sprinkles hahaha. My mom was so embarrassed! She had just grabbed the wrong container and didnt realize it until she had already put them in. Funny thing no one in the family ever noticed anything different. The sprinkles dissolved and didnt add any weird taste to the green beans haha.

Where we are now!

Our Home, This is us in front of what has been our home for a past few months. Yes it is old and yes it does get really hot, so we mostly hang out in my parents house during the day and just sleep in our home stead. Well an update on whats been going on with us.... Matt is just about to finish up his internship at Ernst and Young while I have been so fortunate to be working at the dental office I have previously worked at Dr Boatmans. We are planning on leaving California the beginning of September to head back up to the freezing cold Rexburg for 3 last semesters! Yeah! We are excited to get back and have our own place (no offense fam!).

Quit My Job!!!

So as many of you know Ive been working at a dentist here in the small town of Rexburg. There have been some small things that have just been building up inside me that I don't like about the office and just the other day something happened that just pushed me over the edge. I decided i was not going to let this go unseen by the dentist so I confronted him about it with the hopeful plan that he would take it and change BUT that for sure did not happen so after being in his office for a full HOUR I thought maybe this isn't the place I want to be working. I know we need the money but the most calming feeling that everything was going to be okay if I did quit helped me to build up my confidence and point fingers at me to quit with no hard feelings. I feel so good! We don't really know what we are going to do about money but I think me quitting is (as weird as it sounds) going to be the best thing for us! Anyways just wanted to let you all know our exciting news!!!

Matt and I were able to head to the civil defense caves for some research for one of his classes. We had alot of fun crawling around. I'll admit im scared of the dark in the cave cause the dark in caves is really really dark but we finally found the light at the end and i was so excited! haha
